    Screener links for newbies?

So I am not exactly a newbie but it has been over 5 years since I have followed mrmarket so I might as well be a newbie. I want to start up again and walk through the process of creating my own data dumps.

I used my old bookmarks to Karel's moneycentral.com screeners and those are all broken. I figured the sticky threads would have been updated but no dice. Karel or anybody, can you post or PM me some good links for the 8 screens and I can go from there and experiment a bit.

I want to be huge. A nigerian prince has promised me access to his country's treasury which is locked in escrow. Help me obi wan, you're my only hope! THANKS

When the Moneycentral screener went belly up, the mourners were numerous. A comparable paid service would have been immediately successful.

Right now I can not confirm the suitability of any screener for the implementation of $$$Mr. Market$$$'s method (the old version). That is for a large part because of lack of time in working things out. Currently I am tinkering with the advfn.com screener (free signup, no fees if you just want the screener) for US stocks.

I use Fidelity's screener now. I don't know if it is available to folks who do not have an account with them. It's very good and does all the $$$MR. MARKET$$$ screens.

Doug's, aka IIC's 100 isn't bad. I screen his top 100 weekly for some quickies:

This weekend I tried to run some screens using Questrade and I found that I was severely limited by the parameters I was allowed to use. Unless I'm missing something, it appears that Questrade decided to use a predetermined set of values that prevent me from creating any filters greater than 50%.

I'm Canadian so my list of choices for discount brokers is limited. I was going to run through a similar exercise as above with my own screener and then I was going to do an adaptation MM's screening process on Canadian stocks for fun.

Anyway, I believe TD Waterhouse offers a much better stock screener so I'll look there, otherwise I'll try giving http://ca.advfn.com/ a go. Any other Canadians try this? Anyone care to give me some guidance?

Whoops! Sorry, Moderator. I didn't read the message after the first post I made and didn't realize it wouldn't be visible until it was moderated. I thought something happened with my browser and ended up re-typing my message again thinking that it was lost in the void somewhere. Sorry for the double post!

EDIT: And this one made it through . Now, I just look crazy!
