    I’m having stop problems this morning.
    Firstly I got shook out on EW; Traded as per plan but took more of a loss that I calculated. ½ hour later it ran up past my original stop calculation.
    Loss of 1.7% or 0.5% of capital.

    Secondly I faithfully set my stop for ODFL at the calculated price of 29.68 but being a little brain dead this morning I neglected to hit the transmit button. That cost me an extra 0.13% of my capital.
    Loss of 2.3% or 0.53% of capital.

    It’s expensive being an idiot.

      A couple more pullback plays;

      GSM:
      Buy @ 15.74
      Stop @ 15.14 Target = 17.23
      Capital 2 risk = 0.30%

      RES:
      Buy @ 12.75
      Stop @ 12.48 Target = 14.65
      Capital at risk = 0.25%

      Keeping an eye on TJX, looking for it to trade above yesterdays high.

        RES: Tried to go up but couldn’t
        Stopped out @ 12.48
        Loss of 2.1% or 0.25% of capital

        TJX came within 1 cent of triggering then did a swan dive back to where my stop would have been. It’s almost like having a winning trade.

            I have to admit that you are the only person who can strike the fear of God into me and leave me sleepless. You know I am talking about AMRN. Yours truly, your fellow Canadian (dual citizen) from Waterloo, Ontario.

              AMT:
              Buy @ 71.25
              Stop = 70 Target = 75
              Capital at risk = 0.30%

              ENS:
              Buy @ 36.01
              Stop = 35.50 Target = 39.35
              Capital at risk = 0.25%

              Both pullback plays;
              Still watching TJX

                TJX:

                Stop = 44.12 Target = 46.5

                Maximum positions in my portfolio; sit back and wait for exits to trigger.

                  Me thinks I is goin in the wrong direction.

                  10 losses in a row. And it looks like more to come. Have moved stops up on my remaining holdings.

                  Yesterday had 2 stops hit;
                  ENS:
                  Sold @ 35.50
                  Loss of 1.36% or 0.25% of capital.

                  TJX:
                  Sold @ 44.11
                  Loss of 0.92% or 0.26% of capital

                  So far today
                  GSM:
                  Sold @ 15.12
                  Loss of 3.94% or 0.36% of capital.

                    ENS:
                    Back into ENS @ 35.60
                    Stop = 34.99 Target = 69
                    Capital at risk = 0.15%

                          HAIN:
                          Buy @ 63.46
                          Stop = 63.46 Target = 69
                          Capital at risk = 0.0%

                          A no risk trade because I screwed up an entry.
                          I was setting up an entry with a bracket order to buy at a higher price. (Looking for a break of yesterdays high) Somehow I triggered the entry at market so I moved the stop to breakeven.

                          RB thats where the 69 came from.

                                I record this as a break even trade.
