Which one do you like...and why??

I will buy one of these sometime before Christmas.

To me it's a toss-up between NVO and VAR. I prefer VAR because of it's lower share price and lower PE. My pick-VAR.

I don't see VAR going up to 105.00 in the near future. NVO has a lot of downside gaps to fill. ILMN, 96? You're kidding, right? CVU good new contracts. PNRA need 160. I don't think so.

      CVU is more likely, IMHO.

You make some good points River. As far as CVU goes, I'm very leery about the aerospace sector as an investment and that's coming from someone who's father designed aircraft for a living. But then again, you like the pharma's so we know who has nerves of steel here.

          Mr.Market,
I'd eliminate PNRA and VAR with ok earnings but not so great sales. especially VAR stinks. Like River I don't see any big move from ILMN soon unless Bios go completely ape sh#* for some reason.

That leaves NVO and CVU. CVU is just superior to NVO by most measures. Not saying NVO isn't good. I'd place my $$ with CVU.

Although NVO dominates its sector, Large Cap Pharma, it's a smaller sector than CVU's Aerospace/Defense. CVU ranks 3rd but in a much stronger group. Check out the charts for the sectors. CVU is riding high on the momentum while NVO is making up its mind whether to rise or fall.

I'm still lookin' at VAR and NVO with 96's on Barchart and thinkin' that VAR is the way to go.
