I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Looks like TQNT is now trading around 11.70 in after hours.
Looks like a long wait for $15's...
TriQuint Semi misses by $0.03, beats on revs; guides Q1 below consensusReports Q4 (Dec) earnings of $0.25 per share, $0.03 worse than the Thomson Reuters consensus of $0.28; revenues rose 31.1% year/year to $253.4 mln vs the $250.7 mln consensus. Co issues downside guidance for Q1, sees EPS of $0.14-0.16 vs. $0.19 Thomson Reuters consensus; sees Q1 revs of $215-225 mln vs. $227.24 mln Thomson Reuters consensus.
O well, looks like I might be wrong after all, unless one thinks that 5 trading days is a long wait for $15's?
Well, at least we're forming a base on avg. volume. Thank you Middle East once again for fouling up our progress.
It's always something isn't it??? It's been a crazy 12 months. It seems like every time we get a little MOMO in the market, sh#t happens in the world and tanks everything.
I can't remember the order but, Ireland, Greece, actually all of Europe with the debt, Eqypt, Yemen, Jorndan....etc. I am sure I am missing a bunch of events that have fouled up the markets.
Best, Steel It's time to Grab the Bull by the Horns!
Do you guys remember that cat Ntere that said TQNT wasn't a good company, lol. It was over on Pete's thread "tqnt will supply apple" He's banned now but here's 5-6-7-8 or more people all seeing the same thing and this yahoo says it's not a good company or something to that extent. How funny.
I ended up 38% higher on my Feb 14 calls and I did sell half of my March 14 calls and still riding the other half of March 14 calls. They are 1.10 right now. I would like to see them at 1.50 or more. Any thoughts?

steel,
I was tempted to sell my TQNT but with the strength they showed the last 2 days it would have been foolish. There's got to be a couple dollars upside from here. Just checked, I'm up 110.89%. Only regret is I didn't buy more.
