Phoenix, Oh no! I've got all the symptoms. Vectorvest says OSUR is worth 3.65 and is a sell. A doctor told me a lot of people in their 40's 50's and 60's with tattoos are going to develop Hep C. Think of all those getting staph infections and Mersa at hospitals. Aren't hospitals 100X more sanitary than your neighborhood tattoo parlor? I'm sure they mop the floor and probably wash their hands but what about the needles and other equipment? I don't want to think about it.

you can't kill ALL the bugs. the more you try, with antibacterial agents, etc, the hardier the bugs get. that's exactly why MRSA even exists.

Also I think you may have found a good pick here in OSUR, just looking at where they are financially. (per yahoo's #'s) Last quarter, they posted the first ever profit of 0.01. This year will likely be a 0.02 total EPS, and if they hit the projected 0.11 earnings # for next year, the stock should be ripe for a 3x-6x gain from here (at $6). Of course this assumes our frothy market stays frothy for another year, and rewards 500% profit increases accordingly...

I owned OSUR at least 15 years ago when it IPOd. Thought it was the easiest money I would ever make. Guess what?

OSUR News OraSure Technologies (NASDAQ: OSUR) is higher early as today is Hepatitis Testing Day in the United States.
Amid the event, The Chronic Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF) announced that it's collaborating with Walgreens to offer free hepatitis C (HCV) testing with the OraQuick® HCV Rapid Test at more than 60 Walgreens retail pharmacies in 12 major cities throughout the country.
The program, which is slated to launch this August and run through January 2016, will offer free rapid HCV testing on specific days and times each week to patients at risk for HCV.
