        Welcome back! I'd say you and billy are way too optimistic. Secular bear markets can last for years, just like secular bull markets.

          I'm with you. This European stuff could take a while to work out. Asia's taking a porking overnight. Our companies need someplace to sell their goods if earnings are to hold up.

            I think if we see a groundswell of voters set on getting this administration out of Washington and office there could be a better outlook on economic and business conditions. I'm praying that Obama gets voted out. It's the only way out of this mess we are in. But right now it's a crapshoot.

              I'm not really optimistic, but having said that there are still companies making money quarter after quarter that are just going to get cheaper and cheaper in this oscillating condition. It's hard not to like MA and V, for example.
