I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Anyone use any methods or indicators that one could use to anticipate bull/bear markets?
I.e. when to be in stocks, and when to go fishing instead...
if you look at either the $INDU or the $SPX weekly charts you will see that there has been a ceiling of around 12750 on the INDU and around 1400 on the SPX where a correction takes place. I use the technical aspects of an index or a stock to make a determination based on the technicals. I think we are in for a decent correction on the indexes and for stocks in general because 75-80% of all stocks will follow the index they are in regardless of their fundamental strength. right now the INDU and SPX are right at or close to their recent highs where they have corrected each time they have reached that point.
