Sounds like you spend your day like I do.

Whatcha tradin that requires all that screen time?

Now that I'm "really" retired, what better way to pass the time? I gave the last 8 years post retirement to my biggest client at their request. It gives me the greatest pleasure to not have the patent time deadlines hanging over my head. (P.S. if you knew my real name, you would easily be able to find me on the USPTO website -- check Cleveland practitioners. I'm really near the top, so I get cold calls all the time from would-be inventors). So I am cleaning out closets and cupboards and drawers, going to lunches, researching in genealogy, and just having fun! Am finding my bliss. (Thankyou, Joseph Campbell). No volunteer work. Gave 10 years sitting on Boards and Committees a while ago. Done with that. Grandkids coming over on the weekend to move deck furniture from garage to deck. No worries. No pressure. Only fun and other esoteric pleasures with my man, no, make that plural, Men. Did you catch that other "word" in my post, totally "purely" unintentional? Giggled when I found it. Starts with an R. Heh

          He He:

Keep in mind that I’m male and that subtlety goes right over my head. Also I’m not able to multi task. “Bareback and naked” was enough to throw the rest of the post out of focus.

Back to screen time; It sounded like you might be day trading or something foolish like that.

Has James ever lied to you before?

Nice move today, why look for a lower entry if the stock is going to $30.00? I'm going to watch and see but hopefully this is a breakaway gap.

              Thanks for the heads up.

Hope you and yours, and all my fellow Canucks, had a great 24th of May holiday. Didn't get a chance to do what I do here every year, SO...

                It's the 24th of MAY.
                It's the Queen's birthDAY.
If we don't get a holiday, we'll all run aWAY.

(God, does that date me or what?)

                  River,
May 24th was also my Queen's 60th. Don't tell her I told you. Exactly 133 years after Victoria. Can anyone explain to me the difference between a consort, common law spouse, and a shack up? Queen Victoria had a consort but some old dude in our local cemetery had 5 consorts and I don't think they were married.

Likewise hope you had a joyous and prosperous Memorial Day.

You're the only other person I have come across that knows that ditty.

Most Canadians don't even know what we are celebrating.
May Long as it's now referred to is just another long weekend.

Hmmm...aren't you older than her majesty? Ouch Mr. W. Besides, good Queen Vic lived to be 82, even in that day and age of lesser lifespans. You both have a lotta livin' still to do! Tell her HAPPY BIRTHDAY! from me. I still remember with a grin at her "surprise" when I mentioned Todd & Sanford. Hee hee. At that point she had to believe what I was telling her!

P.S. Evan (age 12 twin) took the rock collection to school (including the tufa) for a project and got an A+! Several other teachers borrowed the collection to show their classes. He was so proud.

                        River,
Yep, I'm a cradle robber. Beth just went with the daughter and granddaughter to a baby checkup. We hope she's cracked the 7 pound mark.

                            River,
I know Queen Victoria was married but at least around here I think "consort" was a polite way to say they weren't married.

Judging by that sweet picture she is a true bundle of JOY! Interested in where the name came from. Does anyone remember 1956 and that "place". Has anyone mentioned it yet? My oldest daughter, Suzanne, we couldn't wait till she cracked the 3 pound mark, and then the 5.5 pound mark so she could come home. And now she's less than 9 years younger than Beth. Yes, you are a cradle robber! You dude you.

...the only "other person". Hee hee. Gotta love you. P.S. Please note I am using Canadian real true punctuation. American is so illogical, like having to put the period inside the quote. It's amazing how much I had to learn after moving here, especially being a writer. I even argued till I was blue in the face that their system made absolutely no sense. They sometimes agreed with me, but told me I had to do it anyway. Today I still have trouble writing a check for forty-four (fourty-four) dollars. Now, does that honest to God make sense to you? Why drop the "u" in "forty" and keep it "four"?
