    $nuan

Nuance (NUAN), look for a pop this week! (Reminder, they just sold SIRI, the knowledgable and sexy female voice, to Apple.)
Nuance Communications, the leading company in voice technology, is expanding its efforts to make more kinds of machines responsive to our spoken commands.

A very favorable article in today's New York Times (Sunday) titled "The Human Voice, as Game Changer." First Business Page, 2/3 of space below the fold, plus an entire page 6 continuation. What a place to get noticed!!!
Says "They are the equivalent of Microsoft, Google or Amazon in a very niche technological space." "No player is bigger in voice technology than Nuance, of Burlington, Mass., an industry pioneer that has acquired more than 40 companies in the field and today employs 7,300 people." And on and on with praise. Also discusses the pros and cons of the technology as to personal privacy, etc. (talk to your TV, your coffee maker, your toaster, etc. etc. etc.)

Should produce a retail pop on Monday at least, plus institutional and mutual fund interest the rest of the week. I have a 1/2 position from a few weeks ago and looking to add tomorrow, maybe in PM, depending... GLTA

I like the company. Took out a position today near at its closing price. I'm hoping I'm catching the bottom of this before the next leg up.

I also bought CCRT today. Company makes money and its chart is showing a short cup w/ handle pattern. Volume is light overall but has dried up while making the handle.

Close to my 8% stop. It's the market, not the stock. If it hits it, I'm out for now and would try to buy in again if it (the market) continues to pull back. I discovered a long time ago that there is more to be made by doing that, rather than averaging down. Hate to take the loss but in the long run it will pay off.

              River,
Ive heard and believe that's stops are against human nature. Even when evidence shows to the contrary it's hard to sell a stock you believe in. Is that why the best investors often follow the beat of a different drummer?

billy, all my "stops" are mental. Otherwise they just get taken out when the MM reaches down and takes them and the price then goes up. I do believe in this stock though. Hard to see the red though and have gotten really burned a few times in the last year by holding on too long. Hate these sweaty palms. Thanks for the advice. In the past made big money on MSFT and MO by not watching the market. Maybe I should just turn off the derned computer?

Stopped out of NUAN. Disappointed as I had big hopes for this one but it definitely seems to want to go lower.
