      O Huge One,

You've got me stumped on this one. A good argument could be made for 4 of these. You always say it's Earnings, Earnings, Earnings so I checked current earnings and projected over the next 12 months. You don't care about 5 years in the future since you'll be out with the $$ in your pocket in a few months at most. If I just check current yearly earnings and 12 month projected, the winner is SBH with GNC just trailing by a nose hair. Looking 12 months out, SBH and V are almost in a dead heat. Current earnings have GNC and SBH neck and neck, but going Q/Q GNC blows them all off the track. I'll eliminate CMN and ORLY. I'd pick SBH since I see Sally Beauty going into every new mini mall in our area, but we almost never agree so my bet is you go with GNC.

Fundamentally based on P/E; PEG; ROE; Debt/Equity, and Profit Margin the winner should be GNC by a small margin with the worst Fundies belonging to CMN.

Technically CMN is the only one going up. That’s the way you want your stocks to go after you buy them.

CMN also has the highest percentage of insider ownership and the lowest percentage of institutional ownership. This usually means that management has a vested interest. Also if more insitutions become interested it will add to demand and favorably impact the price.

What I don’t like and why I won’t own it at this time is low trading volume. If they miss a quarter and one of the institutions wants to bail there is no telling how low the price will go.

Mr. M which ever stock you pick, I assume you will be backing up the truck, so to speak, and buying a way more than normal as you “LOVE LOVE LOVE this stock”. Is this a correct assumption?
It is hard to find the Truth when you start your search with a preconceived notion of what the Truth will be.

Going by the fact that $$MM LOVE LOVE LOVEs the stock, I'd have to eliminate a few of these right off the bat. Visa is a good bet, but just too boring to LOVE. Sally Beauty is too feminine. ORLY is manly enough, being a car parts place, and CMN is also pretty awesome (who doesn't LOVE endoscopes, when you're looking for writeup material). But knowing $$MM he's bound to go with GNC! After all, as a weightlifter who can bench 385 lbs, he must have been to one of their 7600 locations to check out their selection of items such as Mega Men an Ultra Mega. I know I have, and I'm not even a weightlifter. What could be HUGER than making money with GNC?
(Plus, the finances are pretty impressive: 15-20% EPS growth from $2 is not too shabby for a $35 stock. Every quarter seems to be a 15%+ earnings surprise to the upside.) Billy, you're right... how could he pick SBH over that?

What's not to LOVE about GNC?

Sold my GNC yesterday at 43.2, after buying it at 38 around 6 months ago, for a 14% profit! I knew this one would cash out for me... thanks for finding this great pick, $$MM!!! YOU ARE HUUUUUUGEEEEE!
