    Seems the market is showing its sentiments to the presidents re-election. Any predictions for what we will be seeing and how the market will react for the next 4 years?

    lots of inflation, market will be up nearly as much as gold is. (100-200%)

      Living Yield Curve

      One of the indicators I watch very closely is the Yield Curve. Here is a link to the Living Yield Curve and to SmartMoney's discussion of this curve.



      Grab the slider (below the "Play" button) and move it to the late summer of 2006. You will see the curve begin to invert over the next 6 months or so.

      In the discussion of an inverted yield curve they write "...Inverted yield curves are rare. Never ignore them. They are always followed by economic slowdown — or outright recession — as well as lower interest rates across the board."
