Interesting tho. CORT, that I mentioned on 1/1 as being at 1.41, closed at 1.94 today, about a 35% gain. Somebody's buying risk or something like that.

Thanks, Mimo. How can someone NOT get excited about the a concept like this? Anyway, got shaky, looked over the past history regarding how much this stock has been allowed to stay up before gains sucked back in by the market, and sold half for a nifty profit of 49% in 11 days. Still got the other half and put a buy order in for when it dips. Having said that, watch it double overnight. But I'm not squabbling. I made money and i'm gonna make more.

Oh, I wonder if it's targeted for a buyout?

Mimo, My 2nd pick is SHLD short. I would have picked BBY short but it looks as if it will get bought out and go private shortly.

    2 long picks!

    1. DDD LONG What we have here is a company leading the 3D Printing wave of the future!
    2. AEZS is my biopharma pick . Pretty much AEZS has drugs in the pipeline, what we're hoping for is that at least one of their drugs will hit it big!

OK everyone, I have modified the rules to allow opening short positions.

Winner is largest percentage increase (or decrease) based upon closing price by close of regular business hours on the NYSE December 31, 2013.

Specify if your opening transaction is LONG or SHORT. If you do not specify anything, I will assume you want to go LONG.

For those who have already entered their two stocks, you have a chance now to change your selection(s).

See post #1 for all rules and current entries.

Mimo, Just so we don't have to cover. I was thinking there are more definite shorting opportunities than long.
