    Watch these Stocks !

How about a thread for stocks that we think are about to break out or break down? We could follow with a short report maybe 30 days later telling what if anything important happened.

My first 2 picks are SODA and JAZZ. Both will report earnings soon and if they beat estimates, watch out , they could really make a move.

JAZZ has been consolidating. Look at this chart: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/qui...ow=True&time=7 a small false breakout yesterday. Volume has been relatively low. Excellent PEG ratio and earnings projection is outstanding.

SODA is building the right side of a cup. Also great earnings projected, excellent PEG, and is highly recommended by analysts.

I'm looking at SAM for a possible breakout. A lot of peeps are calling for a top, but I think it breaks out. Earnings on Feb 20th.

I like SODA too. They just announced a deal with Samsung to put their machines in Samsung fridges too.

em26, SAM has a history of strong earnings. I'd say that's what will make it or break it Feb. 20th. Earnings whisper is 1.38 vs. consensus estimate 1.23.

Looks like SAM missed on bottom line, but were in-line on the top. Guidance was in-line too. AH reaction was down 2.5%. Hard to tell where it's going to go tomorrow though.

SODA and SAM both beat on earnings estimates and still tanked. Third victim, JAZZ is yet to post earnings.

Well SAM is back up to 160 from 147 since I posted it. The earnings miss didn't kill it. I still think it's going higher. JAZZ earnings tonight?

SAM is looking good at 160. SODA also has been showing signs of life staying in the 50 range. Not so with JAZZ back to levels last seen in mid December 2012.

SODA is up 3.26% from yesterday. Here are 4 more stocks recovering nicely from yesterday's triple whammy of tax day, gold drop, Boston terrorism.

AMBA--up 5.73% holding steady in the 13.50-14 range.

                    KKR---up 4.59% resting near 20. Poised for a jump

OME---up 3.73% at 10-10.50 and wondering which way to go.

MTD--up 3.02% staying above 200 is important until market steadies.

I own all except SAM and JAZZ . Will keep updating.

Well so much for SAM. It hit 170 then had a bad earnings report. Now it's back to where it started at the beginning of this thread.

Glad I held AMBA and KORS through earnings. SODA also has had it's target increased to $100 by analyst Barclays. Currently up 30.81% on AMBA, 37.88% on SODA and around 20% on KORS. KORS destroyed earnings estimates, dipped a little forming a nice handle w/cup so I bought more today. AMBA up over 10% afterhours after earnings report.

I'll try to highlight one stock each week if one really looks good. This week's pick is CBZ from Cleveland. They provide business services such as insurance and benefit packages to small and medium sized companies throughout the U.S. and also in Toronto Can.

Here are some of the standout fundies : PEG .89, Forward P/E 9.24, Price/Sales .43, Price/Book 1.07, Forward cash flow 7.07, Currently above 20,50,200 moving averages. CBZ is rated a strong buy with a steadily improving EPS over the last 9 months.

Current price 6.65 with support at 6.51 and resistance at 6.79 my target is 9

Here is a 3 month chart. If it can break 6.79 it may run.
