Happy Mother's Day to all , but I must give Special thanks to Maureen Renaghan of Harrington Park N.J.
While playing Little League baseball on Saturday an 8 yr old boy was struck in the chest above the heart by a baseball. He slumped to the ground , was not breathing and appeared to all as being deceased. Maureen , whose son played on the opposite team, rushed out on the field and administered CPR, but the child was still not breathing , so she forced open the boy's mouth and began mouth to mouth resuscitation. On the 4th puff , he choked , turned over an threw up, and slowly came back to life. He was resting comfortably in good condition at a hospital later that Saturday evening.

Thank you for the wishes. My kids got me my favorite chocolates and a citronella candle for the deck. The funniest gift by far was a 12" tall and round FROG that glows blue in the dark with an LED light to aim the beams from the googly eyes at my neighbor's deck (the banshee "witch"). Next come the glow-in-the-dark wind chimes and the white laser eyes from the LED CAT! Gonna get her one way or the other!

I love it billy! Used to work with the luciferase gene in the research lab. (Made green mice!) It's a pretty harmless gene. $40 bucks for the seeds is pretty steep, even to scare the witch, but thanks for the heads-up. (Now if they would sell some green mice, that might scare her enough to make it worthwhile, hee hee).
