Does anyone or has anyone spent some time buying and selling options? It seems to have a lot of profit potential. I'd love to hear about anyone's experience.

About 50% of my positions are options, almost all of those Leaps of Jan. 2015 (fairly soon to be 2016). Options do provide leverage but of course that works both ways, one can lose money faster with leverage just as one can gain it faster. There is no magic in options, methinks. If the underlying issues are good choices you will make money, if not you will lose it. Leaps are a smidge limited because not all issues which trade standard options trade Leaps and of course not all issues have even short term options.Originally posted by Lucavia123 View PostDoes anyone or has anyone spent some time buying and selling options? I have often wondered how one would do if, whenever Mr. Market bought a new stock, one bought an in-the-money call and sold out when he sold. Never got around to trying it tho.
