I bought a lot of S in March and again in June . I made no choice as to what option I'd go with after the acquisition by softbank. Apparently the new Sprint paid cash for around 75% of my shares and gave me 25% in new Sprint stock. My online brokerage site showed the current shares as a 72% loss. Under closed positions it listed the sold shares as a cash transaction with no gain or loss. I called , they said the current holdings would be corrected. It finally happened this week. Sold shares were +27.95% and new shares are +10.34%. Here's Cramers take http://www.cnbc.com/id/100907889 . One reason I bought was the interesting background of softbank's founder. This guy is a real inspiration and the headquarters remains in the U.S. He was educated here and probably didn't like the treatment he received in Japan and Korea.
