The deadline was 01-31-14. I’m OK with the late entries. I have to be fair and ask if the other players are OK with the late entries. If Idon’t hear from the players I will assume everyone’s OK with it. I will add to the spread sheet until I hear from the players.

I think you gave plenty of warning about the ending date for the picks. IMO there should be some consequence for being late. There should be two choices. Let them in late with a penalty or don't let them in at all. A 10% penalty on the starting price would be appropiate.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I assumed incorrectly that I had to get my pick in
before the start of trading for February.

There's no need for name calling by the above poster by calling me a slacker.
I actually laughed when I read that.

I didn't realize people were so competitive on an anonymous Internet forum where
There is no prize for winning and it was suppose to be in good fun....so much for that

Wow, tortuga a time traveller.

Mr. John, look at tortuga post # 39 above, Tortuga's says Join Date of Jan. When you look at your screen shot, it say tortuga Join Date of Feb. Very strange. The contest was actually Tortuga's first post.

Tin foil should do the trick better, but aluminum foil will do.

People who see Tortuga with a join date of Feb 2014 could check the timezone
setting in their settings (link Settings in the top right hand corner on every page
of the site). In the menus on the left, under My Settings > My Account, click
General Settings. To the right, under Date & Time Options, you will then be
able to pick a time zone to your liking. Any dates and times on the board will
then be shown according to that time zone.
