Short Shorts

Anyone see any positively stupendous short positions? Perhaps something to keep in the shop for the next market correction.

Two shorts ready to be ridden right now are:

GME - Resistance at $40.00
SHLD - Resistance at $50.00

Two very weak looking charts with poor fundamentals.

Another possible:

JCP - It's getting good press right now and a lot of upgrades but if it fails to deliver the good.... watch out below.

Both GME and SHLD moving nicely for these short positions.

GME - Down 2.75% on above average volume
SHLD - Down 2.86% by volume was not as high.

GME is still my fav and it is a short position I am currently in.

GME weakness continues. Nice up the last two days but it's hitting the top of the range. Digital gaming is growing while console and discs are fading.

Announcement today: Walmart will start selling used games.

SHLD is near the top of its trading range. I don't see any volume building on the up side or a catalyst to send it higher. I would expect a drop back down to at least $40.00.

GME reports earning on Thursday. Expectations are negative. News is negative. If they beat earnings I expect a nice pop followed by a crushing amount of selling. If they miss earnings they will be crushed. Either way a short position looks very promising.

GME is sitting right at its high point and resistance level of $40.00. Earnings did not give any reason for this stock to be going up. One analyst is still bullish on the company which is why it is higher today.

I expect a crash to come from this. But.... we will see.

I am short at $39.85.

Well this one didn't work out. Covered today for a 4% loss. It will fall but.... not today.
