There is the earnings announcement effect, the triple witching effect, and the full moon effect. And now there is The MrMarketIsHuge Effect. Has anyone noticed how, when MrMarket announces his latest pick, the price and volume of the pick increases? Much more recently than even a year ago it seems.

I like buying on a dip such as with MA and TRN. Odds are greatly to our advantage that they'll hit 15% plus the extra 2-3% from the dip. You've got Mr.Market's great documented record plus the charts of his picks are rarely going to head south after a year or more of steadily upward trend.

When I catch a new pick a little late and see the price jump I do tend to wait in hope of a pullback. But at times I also have missed the boat when not chasing and jumping in during the MrMarketIsHuge effect.
That is why it would be great to get an alert when MrMarket (or others) we follow makes a post. I know it is a lot of work, but I also miss the old e-mails.
While there is a camp that says the market is range-bound or a bit frothy, they are stuck in their herds and not looking at all these individual companies and stocks coming up time after time with Mr. Market.
