  • likely maryjane blue chips?

yeah, yeah, i know -- who knows? way too early to say. but given what's out there, which of the current crop, ha ha, of MJ pennies do you think will have staying power?

for a convenient list of possibilities feel free to reference IIC's Mr. Breakout's Ganja Index, at http://sharptraders.com/ganjaindex.html

i guess, in a roundabout way, i'm trying to figure out which stocks, even after the current run up, might be worth accumulating and holding onto during the inevitable down drafts and shake outs.

feel free to rank em in order of preference, if you like!

well, okay, i'll start things off. how about:
    trtc
    mcig
    attbf
    phot

i only two of em, trtc and phot; the other two got away from me. i'm still trying to decide whether to chase them.

Anyone have any idea how big a business marijuana would be across the entire US?

Answer: about $50 billion per year. Put a 30 percent margin on this, and you get $15 billion in profits. Apply a 5x ebitda to this and you get $75 billion...what does this mean? It means that the market cap of all of the marijuana companies put together in the US cannot exceed $75 billion. Seems like plenty of room right now...!

It troubleth me, large person. $15 billion in profit is about 1/3 of an Exxon. Methinks large companies will not leave this opportunity alone. Will we not, like autos, start out with many small companies and end up with a few big ones, possible existing agri businesses? And who can afford all the land upon which this large amount of weed will grow or the greenhouses if grown indoors. And will weed not become a commodity and end up like wheat thereby cutting the large margin you propose? This does not mean in the short run there is not money to be made in weed stocks. I have 4 (FITX, GLCO, TRTC, PHOT). Going to start lightening tomorrow tho. More and more study seems to indicate all is not as it seems.

          E.g.

and one of my favorite stocks:

Harvard hath drown yourself in academia......having said that, in the long run you are correct.

My favorite in this area is TRTC. It seems to have alot of potential.

            MJNA is also looking decent.

MGIC better increase their sales fast. My research says they have 0 earnings and $50,000 in sales.

Actually the 10Q they filed on the 17th shows revenue for the Jan. 31 quarter of $85,000 and a GAAP profit of $10,000 for a break-even (they have 270 million shares). No obvious swizzles in the statement of operations but I didn't read the verbiage.

I wouldn't buy it at this level but it's not a complete fraud.

PHOT doesn't show up on my watch list today. My son had 100 shares and was down 98% last time I could find quote. Luckily it was < $100 lost.
