I too locked in profits on TRN. Many thanks to the BIG guy for making this forum available. Truly wish I could contribute as opposed to just making use of resources here. For those like me, there are places you can contribute. Like Derek's Dreams. Give what you can. Thanks for opportunities to help make a difference.

toxo, thank you for bringing this up. I too am very grateful to having this board assist me in adding some extra coin I would not have otherwise had, and would like Mr. Market to know that due to his board I am able to contribute significantly more to an organization I feel very strongly about and have supported for many years.

Mr. Market Is Huge has absolutely provided me the opportunity to make a difference.

Thanks. I just saw the reply today. For some reason, I'm not being notified of replies.

Sold half up there but then loaded up again at 79 on that dip as TRN is poised for the long term and I will hopefully be working this one for a while.

I said train kept a-rollin' all night long
Train kept a-rollin' all night long
Train kept a-rollin' all night long
Train kept a-rollin' all night long
With a heave and a ho
But I just couldn't tell her so, no no no

TRN gain now below 15% and I'm still holding. No reason it won't gain another 10%. Would hold this long term but will use cash to fund purchases in a new portfolio that should be killer. Like a minimum of 5 positions for experiment.

Tiedyed, I'm close to selling unless it takes off again shortly. Might have to settle with my 20% BooHoo !

June 25: -- Trinity Industries (TRN_) stock has been upgraded to "buy" from "neutral" with a $51 price target, UBS said Wednesday. The firm said the revision reflects building momentum for railcar order with the company best positioned to increase production.

North Dakota (Bakken) production just passed 1,000,000 barrels per day. They project 1,800,000 barrels per day by 2023. If there's no pipeline, then it's going to be rail.

I'll just have to hold TRN until there's a pipeline.

The pipeline companies should buy and hold TRN stock...then sell it, which would pay for the pipeline.
