    PBYI Puma Biotechnology, Inc

    Hello Everyone

I was in lecture this morning trying to focus on wave propagation but I was still at a lost so I took out my lap top to check my watch list. PBYI is one of many stocks on my list. For weeks the daily average volume ranging between 200k and 400k so I did not buy PBYI because I do not know about biotech. stocks and I still do not know. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the price was at $220.20. I thought I was looking at a price error. Anyway I have never seen a stock with a 267.55 percent gain at the open and ascending another 30 percent during trading hours. Something does not smell right for a stock to skyrocket this much especially a week or two before earnings. Have anyone seen this before?

I do not know if this will trade up or sideways and then sharp declines in the next several weeks. Any thoughts from many great minds on this board? Thanks

It's certainly odd for a $60 stock. Might happen to a penny stock. If you check the open interest of the current option contract on the call side there are large holdings at $60, $70 and $100. The Najarian brothers on CNBC reported that recently someone opened a large spread with I think it was with buying the 60s and selling the 100s or something. But there also is a huge holding of 50s puts. So somebody expected something to happen. No doubt some questions will be asked but if someone was cheating they were really stupid to do something so obvious. No clue what will happen from here out.

The Aria in Vegas has a nice casino and if you play enough, they'll give you free drinks. That's about all I have to say about PBYI and I'm not sure you get free drinks if you bet on this stock.

I just now finished watching the Najarian brothers. I noticed the options yesterday and I thought that was odd. Thanks for your feedback Louetta, Billyjoe, and Mr. M.
