Making Money off of Sand (HCLP)

Lots of buzz around Hi-Crush Partners LP (NYSE:HCLP). Crazy earnings, nice chart, interesting industry and a $0.57 dividend. Thoughts?

It's been in one of my recent Top 5's and has been in the data dump several times. I like it.

Reading a lot lately of increased sand use in fracking operations .....this one as well as a few
      more have run a bit

I started a position in ABM a couple weeks ago....it trades on the TSX.

Waiting for a pullback in this one....if it ever happens

      Cheers!

I wouldn't bet on a big pullback. The production growth charts for North Dakota are very impressive. Also fracking technology is starting to take hold overseas.

          From Zacks:
          • With oil moving lower on Tuesday, Brian decided to sell RSPP from the Home Run Investor. However, the editor still wants some exposure to this space, so he picked up U.S. Silica (SLCA), which makes the sand used for fracking. The company has high quality reserves and is coming off of two quarterly reports with better than expected results on both the top and bottom lines. This Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) is part of a growth industry, so Brian took advantage of a dip this morning to add it to the portfolio. Learn a lot more about this new addition in the complete write-up.

On a scoring system I utilize HCLP Scored 252 out of 300, BITA scored the HIGHEST 294, and FNHC Scored a cool 286!
