I am forced to admit I don't know much about the Russell 2000. Does it troubleth anyone else that this index lost ground today? Sometimes something like the Nasdaq 100 will do that on an up day because 1 or 2 humungous capitalization stocks lose ground. But Russell 2K is supposedly a small cap index. Does this not mean a bunch of stocks went down? (I realize the S&P 500 was up nicely and that's a bunch of stocks.)

One more time! You can short RUT/IWM with this. (TNA is the bull equivalent.)
Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X ETF (TZA)
-NYSEArca
17.520.17(0.98%) Oct 17, 4:00PM EDT
After Hours : 17.500.02 (0.11%) Oct 17, 7:59PM EDT
Caution though: This is a short term hedge play only. Usually only a few days at most, depending on the correction duration. Can also be day-traded, if you're into that. You have to keep an eye on it. I stream it, along with the other indices, like RUT, IWM, etc. If they are red down arrows, TZA will be green up and TNA red down. Good gauges of what the small caps are doing, IMHO.
