I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. I'll run a data dump soon and add these to the mix. Anyone else want to volunteer some stocks for the data dump?
Hmm. Guess I thought your methodology considered (pretty much) all stocks by default (maybe not penny stocks). If that were true you wouldn't have to add any stocks to the mix, they'd be in there automatically. Can you explain a smidge further? Much grass.
I am not familiar with all of these but one I own and bought for my sons long term account is ODFL.
Look at the long term chart of Old Dominion and give it to your children.
From a shorter term scope, I know Shire (SHPG) as they purchased my shares of VPHM and they are making money on that, but while many biotechs and other drug companies are on a roll I need to look at their individual pipelines. (I just sold my GILD, CELG and REGN and have been trading the IBB lately and also now looking at individual companies but have not been able to nail them down, yet.) Shire was caught up in the whole tax inversion debacle but that momentum back up looks real.
While I enjoy tech I have never been big on owning semiconductors so do not know enough about TSM.
The other ones on the list I have no clue about, but must add that with a somewhat improved sentiment about China (and Morgan Stanley picking up a 5.3% stake in this company recently) I do want to know what ATHM is all about. Its volatility is high but may be the one really ready to take off, so I would like to know more about ATHM and hear others thoughts as well. (Earnings this Wed)

I consider all stocks, but my screen weeds out all but 200 of them. So what I would do is add the "volunteer" stocks to the 200 and see how they do if they get to take a shortcut.

Check out Riverbabes Baby Biotechs. Stay clear unless you are in BIB or the like. The individual ones are mostly a crap shoot.

Individuals are indeed a crap shoot. Not that they are Babys, I took my profits on the individuals (GILD, CELG, and REGN) two weeks ago and just left the IBB on Friday.
I have some cash and ready to jump on board but very undecisive and will be patient (as well as looking forward to Mr. market's next data dump!).
BIB, IBB have nice swings and I am starting to get more accustomed to them.
Novartis (NVS) still interests me as well as Biogeb Idec (BIIB)
Haven't seen much chatter in your Baby Biotechs River.
I will check in more often there and see what we can find.
Thanks; -Adam
p.s. back to Lucavia's list, does anyone else have any comments?
