The guy is a fake and a fraud. Always complaining that people should pay more in taxes......while HE is in litigation with the government over tax disputes!.
He also went on this campaign of people should pay more in taxes , and supposedly told Obama to to go against the gas and oil pipeline. Then this fraud gets to ship the oil via his railroads.
I would say to Warren , "You are worth in excess of 50 Billion ....how about giving 10 Billion DIRECTLY to Hospitals, Soup Kitchens and food pantries around the country? " Then we will see how altruistic he really is!

Well, as long as we are clear that 'people' actually means 0.3% of all taxpayers. The NYT piece
      is not bad: https://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/15/o....html?_r=2&hp&

There are anomalies in our tax system, and that is Buffett's point, if you read what he says.

My grandfather, a wealthy retired person, makes plenty on social security, a pension, capital gains, dividends and interest on bank deposits. But he pays no social security or medicare taxes and hasn't for years. Every morning he goes to Dunkin' Donuts and is served by close to minimum wage types who cough up, what is it, 6.2% of their income to FICA taxes. Methinks that is not entirely fair.

Hopefully he tips the service personnel well......they surely deserve it!

I don't donate much to charities , exceptions are The Salvation Army , and the Vietnam and Paralyzed VETS. I do tip Waitresses and Waiters 20% Plus, if service is good! Many Charities have extremely high Administrative fees which I don't feel are justified...... more money should go to the people they serve.
