    Caution ahead !

While driving we may encounter "CAUTION" signs which read as follows: Falling Rock Slides, Bump In The Road etc.
There are now current rumblings about a stock market crash. Whether one will happen or not is anyone's guess, BUT please note that the US Stock Market is currently overvalued with a cyclically adjusted P/E Ratio of 27+, and note that only 2 times has it been higher than 27 , and that my friends was in 1929 and 1999 ! We all know what happened at those junctures, and it was not pretty.
I don't want to be a fear monger , but that is just the way it is!

My 8% trailing stops have been triggered many times in the last two weeks - I am approaching 25% in cash. Got taken out of MO yesterday at a 67% profit in my Roth - I hated to let that one go but I am already planning on buying it back on this pullback.

Friend of mine owns MO and has ridden it out for years , always buying more on steep pullbacks. He just loves the dividends, and will leave the stock to his children when he passes on!

I held sister stock PM for years reinvesting divs. to the point of a 100% gain but finally sold when cigarette sales started dropping. They are diversifying so much now I might eventually get back in and cig sales are still increasing in far east.

The strong dollar will cut earnings measured in dollars for US companies doing business in Europe. Rising interest rates will mean stocks are no longer the only game in town. Oil prices will rise toward $60 (look at the futures) meaning consumers will have less to spend. Just sayin'.

This sort of relates to the topic above, but I would recommend everyone to read the book "Currency Wars" by Jim Rickards.
Very bright man who explains what's happening with the currency throughout the world. He also says the US will not raise rates until 2016 (and I tend to believe him).

Just received an email about the Currency Wars book. Yes I think they will go easy on raising interest rates BEFORE the 2016 election ....the Libs are pushing Hillary , and don't want to ruin her chances!

Yeah, anybody doesn't want to miss the chances because chances don't come always.
