I'm always interested in getting an idea of how Cramer's recommendations might fare.
On or about December 12 his site published a list of 38 (why 38?) stocks said to be his picks for the upcoming year. I put an imaginary million $ into each. As of today the portfolio is worth a tad over 32 million, down 15.7 % vs. down about 11% for the S&P 500 (not exact since I didn't record the exact starting value).
Best picks are HRL and SJM (each up 3-5%) and then NOC LMT MMM and HON (each down 2-3%). All of these pay a dividend.
Worst picks are MNST AMZN EXPE REGN BAC CRM NFLX and PANW (each down 25-40%) with LNKD last down 55%.
I'm not a big Cramer fan but in his defense he's probably limited to reasonably high-cap stuff but if that's what he's putting out there than that's what it is.
