If you're still holding onto those, you must be doing very well right now!

After a long absense, I am back in the market - long KNSL at $193.

My plan: own these shares for at least 365 days... unless I get stopped out of course.

TPL almost a double since I noticed it in January. I'll catch one of thes one day and actually buy these boomers before they boom. TPL at $1,175 today, it was at $675 when I started watching it.

You're welcome for TPL. I hope you bought it because I didn't. It is over $1,500 now. I did buy more KNSL. I still believe it is a good buy and like it more at these levels. I'm still long, but now my average in is lower. Of course, too much further down and I don't care how much I like it, I'll stop out and admit defeat.

Good job on TPL, blind squirrel. KNSL is a solid buy. I think you’ll be fine. If I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t own some myself

I genuinely do too. I would not be shocked if it doubled or more from here inside 24 months.

                Summer update:

KNSL (still) I see lots of upward potential
TPL (still) some more room up I believe since the triple this year

It is the time of year that I run some scans and rework my watchlist for the year. I usually only buy one stock in a year. Last year it was KNSL. It hit my stop order and I was able to buy back in around $166 this summer, so I beat the market with it even though its over-all 2021 didn't. In so many ways, I hope 2022 is better than 2021...

Highest potentail on top to lowest:

HZO - Based out of Florida, they are in the boat business. I see a lot of value here.
QDEL - California based medical supplies including COVID tests. Wild swings, but the numbers say they are a value buy right now
KNSL - Still on my list. They sell insurance and the numbers still say they are cheap at December 2021 levels.
TPL - About 1 million acres of land in Texas and I wish I bought it last year. More room up from here

KNSL is reporting great numbers today and TPL is trading below $1,000 - that’s a good buy-more level for me.

You are welcome on TPL. Trading at $1,270 this morning.

I don't think a person could go wrong with XOM at this time.

I’ve never had success with the oil and gas industry. Based on the 5 year chart I don’t like the $80-$90 price, but the Russia situation may trump everything for oil.

blindsquirrel, I've done great with gas stocks as long holds and reinvesting dividends. MSFT is really tempting, but at 295 I couldn't buy enough to make meaningful gains.

TPL hitting $1,700 and new 52 week highs.

KNSL is close to 52 week high levels.

I am disappointed in HZO. I’m not selling but since it didn’t perform as I expected I don’t intend to add any.

TPL likes hitting new 52 week highs. Hitting the $1,800 levels.
KNSL I am thinking of selling and banking my 40%. I’ve owned it more than a year, and I may want to buy more HZO.
HZO I decided to bet that HZO was suffering unjustly. I think it is cheap at these levels and I bought more at $38. I still like the financials and I think they will still beat expectations on earnings and have a great year. That’s my bet…
