Under the category "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread", I cannot comprehend why this conversation is taking place at all. Mimo, didn't you WIN??? Why are you sounding like a .... loser?

John Henry,Originally posted by mimo_100 View PostThis must be some kind of Socialist argument - why would anyone want to disallow WINNING stocks?
The comment was NOT aimed at you.
The under $10 stocks performed best was my comment - I believe that there will be less separation among winners with the over $10 rule - thus the Socialism comment. You are certainly free to run your contest any way you want - just as we are free to enter or not.

What makes you so sure those are WINNING stocks?Originally posted by mimo_100 View PostThis must be some kind of Socialist argument - why would anyone want to disallow WINNING stocks?
You make sure your penny stock (under five dollars) pick for this contest beats your POTY 2016 score of 415.45 percent or it was not worth your trouble.

Hi Karel,Originally posted by Karel View PostI wouldn’t call JohnHenry a socialist, but rather, he having graciously offered to do the POTY again, the benevolent dictator of the game. I just tried to see some sense in his proposal. I am fine with it, and if he changes his mind about it, I will be fine with the change too.
Where have you been? Yeah, I know. I am disappointed with that comment too. I thought we were professionals here.
I read many top successful fund managers do not purchase stocks under ten dollars. I thought we would raise the bar and make it a bit interesting and fun. That’s all.
It is just a game. Look at the difficulty we are having and the contest have not started. I could not imagine how ugly this could get if we were discussing this in person – real life.
Players always have a choice, to play or not.
