So in other words, all the greatest picks in the contest this year are concentrated in a single family?

Who could have guessed that SHOS would be a retail juggernaut? I just saw it on a list of retailers that might be out of business in a year.

My pick, FIVE, is moving back up again, breaking the Summer highs. If it goes on above the $133 level we might just see the run I was expecting when I picked it towards $200.

Per Schwab data NIO is up 40% since about June 14.Originally posted by BlueWolf View PostWell, I’ve learned my lesson. I should have stuck with what I know, picking stocks that will add value over time, instead of swinging for the fences and trying to pick a stock that will have the most gains, even in a paper trading contest. Honestly (and obviously), I don’t know how to pick the stock with the most gains. If I ever did, it would be purely by accident.

I have a similar situation. I suck at picking stocks with the most gains. And if I did picked a stock with a 20 percent gain or greater it was by luck.Originally posted by BlueWolf View PostI should have stuck with what I know, picking stocks that will add value over time, instead of swinging for the fences and trying to pick a stock that will have the most gains, even in a paper trading contest. Accident or luck, I’m OK with it as long as I’m making money – That’s the best part about stock picking.
