My pick, FIVE, sure was a stinker in 2019.

Mine, CTL, ditto. I was prematurely counting on 5G. OOPS!

Same here for NIO. I was counting on them being a viable business. 😉

Note that the leader, by a substantial margin, is not even a member of the group.

I guess the lesson for Antioch (and perhaps most of us here) is to listen you his Dad, rather than the group he hangs out with here.

and my weed play continues to crash to the bottom too! (Great product but lousy stock pick.)

I hope everyone had a great year (with their quality of life as well as portfolio).
While 2020 sounds a bit science fiction futuristic to me I am excited to see what the future brings!

At this rate, I might just finish the year only 50% down. Where is the world am I going to find a stock that good in 2020? 😳

How about sticking with NIO? I don't know about their execution, but the idea is good. Selling electric cars in a country where people walk downtown streets wearing surgical masks because of the pollution?

Oooh, you just gave me an idea! Maybe I can find a Chinese surgical mask manufacturer. Do you think they put lead and Strychnine in their surgical masks like they do their dog food and diapers?

Oh goody, I didn't finish last this year.

THANK YOU, JohnHenry, for doing this.

Thanks for running this JohnHenry - I am already looking for a stock for 2020 - if there is going to be a contest.

I have been reminded we did not congratulate the winners, which I happily do so now. I think that's because it's been so obvious for months who would win that it seemed kind of like a non event when it finally happened. Like the Patriots winning the Super Bowl. Well. Most years.

While the Antioch Family shops for a new Mercedes with their profits, I'll start looking for a non-stinker pick for 2020. Congratulations on your excellent picks!
