My oldest grandson is getting married in LA Sat. April 4th. All 150 guests had to cancel. So it will be a backyard ceremony with a judge and her parents. But he called me yesterday to say they are going to do YouTube live (like Facetime) and another ceremony now scheduled for August. What a different world we live in since before you left!

Thank you. I think you would have won that bet. I didn’t think civilization would be on the edge, but I was worried like many Californians before leaving.

Like many people I am sad to hear many businesses closed, many workers unemployed, many people dying too soon, and many families destroyed worldwide.

When I flew over Los Angeles to LAX I didn’t see head lights going in one direction and I didn’t see brake lights going the opposite direction on the freeways or the city streets – They were empty.

Many flights canceled. Uber, Lyft, Yellow Cab, Gray Hound, and rental cars not in operation. It felt like the world/earth stood still.
