What are y'all's thought on NOK?

Watch the video on the 2030 vision that they have. Do you think NOK will still be at $5 in 5 years? I think it could be at least 20 or 30 by then. They've been stuck in a $4-$6 range for about 10 years now, and revenues are 24B euros, up from 22B the previous year (2021).

Might be the time to buy some NOK, eh?

This is anecdotal but my Grandfather retired from Lucent Technologies in 2001. Lucent subsequently merged (I think it was) with Alcatel. Alcatel subsequently was bought (I think it was) by Nokia. He has, since he retired, made efforts to make money off his connection with the various companies and has not been successful. If one can postulate that the reason is that these various combinations have not been able to compete and win against their competitors then I would wonder why that would change. As I said, anecdotal, no facts offered.

I'd say it's fairly priced...one would think that the dividend should be more robust for such a cash cow.

Hm... good food for thought, there, Louetta. Thanks! I read this immediately after I sold my remaining GBTC at 12 and put it into NOK at 4.9. So yeah, I leaped before looking on this, but damn NOK looks cheap right here. Maybe it is for a reason tho... I'll try looking a little harder still, as maybe there is something to your anecdote, which should give us pause for holding on to this one.

Then maybe they'll raise it? They did before... from '97 to '07 Nokia raised it from under 0.05 to over 0.50 yearly. Now it's 0.06 again.... so what if they raise it over the next 10 years to 0.60 because so much money is rolling in? Where will NOK be trading then? And how many years before my $4.90/shr cost is fully refunded in dividends? That'd be awesome if I got all my money back and then still owned free $60 NOK shares!

NOK raised the dividend paid today by 10% from the last dividend (0.022 vs 0.02). So I bought more today at 4.75. If they keep upping the dividend, that yield will start to attract more buyers, and bump the price back up to where it belongs.
