Man that was an interesting week. The markets pretty much took a gut punch and headed lower with some force. The real interesting stuff happened on Thursday and Friday, though, when the candlestick charts had me wanting to buy and sell at the same time. Man do I have some whiplash. The funny thing is that except for pushing everything lower, all the activity had no effect on the leaderboard. Minni17’s ATAT remains in 1st, Jiesen’s litte-stock-that-could BBAI remains in 2nd, and Louetta’s ORCL remains in 3rd. We sure saw a lot of gains evaporate, though. Normally, I would expect the shortened Thanksgiving week to be uneventful, but who knows at this point. All I know is that the end is near, so giddyup little stocks.

Oops, I almost forgot to post the standings this week, but have no fear, a little tinkling in the back of my brain reminded me. At first blush, it looks like it was just a tread water week with the Dow and S&P closing slightly higher and the NASDAQ closing slightly lower. It was anything but that, however, as the market whipsawed, first up and then down. The leaderboard changed a little, but not much. Minni17’s ATAT remained in 1st, Jiesen’s resilient BBAI climbed into 2nd and trails 1st by the narrowest of margins, and Louetta’s ORCL holds down 3rd. We’re definitely in the home stretch now, so if anybody’s pick is going to make a run for it, now’s the time to do it. Good luck all.

There was a pretty solid drop in the market this week, and it had our leaderboard rockin’ and rollin’. Our newest leader is … drum roll … Minni17’s ATAT. Huzzah! Louetta’s leaderboard star ORCL held down 2nd, and Jiesen’s wild little runner BBAI jumped back up into 3rd. These shakeups just won’t stop so keep your binoculars on the track.

I have a feeling this AI bubble has a ways to go before it bursts. ORCL could reach 450, or 500 by then. BBAI could be over 60 when it peaks next year, too!
Of course, I've been wrong many times, and will be wrong again many times...

When the bubble bursts, my guess is that most AI stocks will fall >90%, with the exception of the 2-3 winners, which would likely include one or two of OpenAI, xAI, GOOG, MSFT and ORCL. My bet's on Google cleaning up on everything AI. That or another AI company we've not heard of yet, which eats OpenAI or xAI from the inside out after an acquisition.

It was a little bit of a seesaw week, although all three indices managed to close marginally higher. Just like the market, the leaderboard was stirred up a little and once again we have a new leader. Jiesen’s scrappy BBAI reclaimed 1st place as Louetta’s ORCL retreated a bit to fall back into 2nd. In 3rd place, a strange new visitor, my very own PSTG dropped by for a cup of coffee in its first appearance in the top three this year. This market is still rockin’ and rollin’. Who will be shaken out of or in to the leaderboard next week? Stay tuned.

    Oh, and Happy Halloween everybody!

It was a pretty nice week for the market. All three indices were up, especially after Friday’s rally on lower-than-expected inflation numbers. There were some changes again on the leaderboard as Louetta’s ORCL leap frogged Jiesen’s BBAI to take over 1st place by the narrowest of margins. Following BBAI in 2nd was Minni17’s ATAT, which took over 3rd after a precipitous drop in Massimo’s XBOTF. Volatility continues to rule day so let’s see how many more shakeups we have left.

The market pretty much treaded water this week, and correspondingly there was little change in the leaderboard. Jiesen’s BBAI rocketed up early in week, but then pulled back. Still it was enough to catapult it back into 1st place. Louetta’s ORCL slipped back into 2nd and Massimo’s XBOTF held down 3rd. The market seems a little jittery, so we’ll just have to wait and see what’s next. Getting into the cold weather, though, so the end is in sight.

Any Tariffs put out in the news cycle on a Friday will be reversed by Wed, so that all the Friday shorts in the know can buy back on Monday-Tuesday. It's the new way to make money. Tip off your buddies, implement tariffs, let them cash in, then pull it back. Rinse, repeat! Wonder when everyone will finally catch on to this...

It was kind of a “meh” week, with the Dow drifting lower and then there was that word “tariff” again. Bam! The market got slaughtered on Friday. The leaderboard got shook up a little, but it remains the same players with the order a little different. Louetta’s ORCL jumped back into 1st place after a brief hiatus, with Jiesen’s BBAI in 2nd, and Massimo’s XBOTF holding onto 3rd. Well just have to see how much the market nose dives on the latest tariff news, and how that will affect the leaderboard. The suspense is killing me.

The market had another up week, with all three indices closing higher. The real news, however, is that we had a major shakeup on the leader board. Our new leader is … drum roll … Jiesen’s BBAI. Congrats, Jiesen! The lead is narrow, though, at only 1.22% above 2nd place holder, Louetta’s ORCL, which had held the lead off and on for a while now. Massimo’s XBOTF took over 3rd, bumping Minni17’s ATAT off the leaderboard … for now. We’re in the last quarter, but there’s still a ways to go. More rocking and rolling to come, I think. Let’s watch these horses run.

It was a down week for the market as all three of the major indices pulled back a little. Most of our picks also dropped a little, but it didn’t effect the leaderboard and so Louetta’s ORCL remains in 1st, Jiesen’s BBAI remains in 2nd, and Minni17’s ATAT holds down 3rd. How boring. No leaderboard changes! I suspect the market has a few more shakeups in it, though.
