In case anyone is interested, our mock portfolio just about broke even this year with a paltry +0.60% return. Not great when compared to last year’s +13.5% return, but better than the previous years -6.38% return. Oh well, we’ll swing for the fences in 2026.

It’s over, it’s over, it’s all over. The market went out with a whimper and so did our picks. We did have some highlights, though. Three of our picks beat all three of the major indices, five picks beat the S&P, and seven picks finished in the green. Pretty, pretty good. OK, now for the final standings. Drum roll please …

In third place we have Massimo’s XBOTF.

My pick was good in the beginning of the year, but I never bought it because of the high p/e of 24 to 22. It was mostly a momentum trade which can change at any moment like was seen by most of the picks through the year. I guess this entire year was moves derived from momentum, because the fundamentals didn't change. Earnings are still steady with high p/e ratios. I am readying my pick for next year. Just for details, this year looks like it's a year of A.I. momentum, and standard buying S&P. It's hard for me to congratulate the winners because of the volatility, but again I guess it comes down to something...maybe...maybe. As long as we're all together... Congrats to all for another year of participating!.

The markets were up pretty strongly this week with all three indices gaining. The effects on our picks were mixed, though, with uppers and downers appearing in a mostly equal distribution. One big gainer was Massimo’s XBOTF, which moved into 3rd place with a strong week. Meanwhile, Minni17’s ATAT hung on to 1st place with Jiesen’s volatile BBAI holding on to 2nd. There are only three more days to make some magic, so now’s the time to turn on the nitrous tanks and make up some ground.
