My top five(in order):

NIHD, CCBI, PKZ, VIP, and a toss up between OMM and NFI for 5th place.

I think its hard to go wrong with any of these.

Top Five Picks

The five with good momentum, good institutional buying, and decent volume are:

WIRE, MICC, SCHN, ALDN, AMED.

They should hit the 15% target the quickest in my opinion. Thanks for the great list.

I like UWN & SGMS. Both are casino babies like ASCA (Mr. Market's pick). Casino sector is being hot for the couple of weeks.
UWN has fabulous growth rate. SGMS starting to move up after 3 months settled down for correction. Let us all wait and see what Mr. Market's picks.

Lots of good ones on this screen

My fav are BXG, MPP and VIP. BXG is up 50% in the past 3 months and is still extremely cheap at about 11 P/E. IBD is promoting MPP really well, they have a 3 million share float. P/E is a bit on the high side though. VIP's revenues and earnings are just exploding. It would be tough to go wrong with VIP.

My 2 cents

I was already looking at CCBI, NIHD, NFI, OMM, and BXG. A little leary of CCBI and NFI just because of the recent jobs report and interest rate rise probability. They also took big hits Friday, but there is some potential to rebound. NIHD reorganized under Chap 11 in 2002 and growth is projected to be a negative 21.5% next qtr. That leaves OMM and BXG, either of which are good. With summer on the way I like BXG with their vacation resorts, but that may be a little far out for a 4 - 6 week return. OMM could benefit from increased world oil demand for their bulk shipping. Just my 2 cents and that is about what it is worth!!
Already own WIRE and it has been doing well.

NEV is a special situation stock

It is being acquired by another on your list: PXP. Aribitrage on a stock after an announcement that it's being acquired results in market trading that isn't truly comparable to its previous history.

I would recommend that you remove spec sit stocks from your data dump results.

You have a point, but then, a dump is a dump. But I certainly wouldn't expect such a stock in the top 5!
