I think SHOO is still extended. The daily Volume Flow Indicator turned bearish on Friday and worsened yesterday. The DMI is about to cross to the downside. The weekly chart is very extended and yesterday's close is more than double the 200-week MA. Also, the weekly chart shows a diamond top.

Two weeks ago the company announced that earnings for the year would be below estimates.

SHOO shows us a very bullish chart that has just successfully retested support ($50). Has a target of $62.50, and today would have been a good entry. "Buy support; sell resistance." And no, I don't think it is prone to failure.

I don't know what to make of the compression on the upward slope, but it appears at the upper trend line, and a retreat may be in order.Any input would appreciated.

Hey Tom.... I don't claim to have great chart skills.... but I think a retreat is in order. And my trades Friday reflected that.

btw. I REALLY miss this thread....

How is the chart looking? I am thinking of going long at some point, but it really seems out of hand right now. Is it possible we see around $13.50 on a dip? I really dont feel comfortable about chasing it.

Anyone else with their comments are welcome to express them.

    Thanks!
Hey mystiky! Well the FIZ had lots of bubble left in it; to the tune of 39% or so huh! Yowza.

Looks like the air may deflate..... hope you nailed some of that move!

It actually sets up short now, but I see it's not shortable and there are no options for it. Oh well.......

Great Tom; glad to help out Also glad you're enjoying IB's platform over anything else you've tried. Congrats on success with the YM too.

For anyone who hasn't seen my post on bracket orders for IB, check it out here: http://ymfutures.blogspot.com/2006/0...et-orders.html

And anyone else interested in demoing IB to see what's so great about it, you can download the full TWS platform (that a demo account will run on) from here: http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en...structions.php

Once it's installed and you get to the login box

you can log into a full demo account with
    User Name "edemo"
    Password "demouser"

Once you're in, you can play around with configuration and orders and brackets etc. as much as you like and see why direct access broker like IB is a quantum leap from retail brokers in both quality of platform and price of commission. Shoo, anyone would think I work for IB lol

BTW I asked Runner, and would like your thoughts,NENG hasn't broke 3.25 but it is holding steady, bull or bear?Im in the ''could break either way'' camp for now. Also ENT did fall below 12 where you targeted support, great call,as it was paying over 18% distribution at that level.Bulls jumped in today, could be a short setting up
NENG is real nice potential. It's doing the 'c' down now....just a matter of whether it needs below 'a' or not, which a good handle will call for that kind of wedge drop...

I'm thinkin wise to support the lower pink wedge line with 1% risk plays until you nail it for the perfect 'c'. I think once it does a weekly close over 3.20 I'll feel better about its longterm prospects. I'll add it to my watchlist and holler if I see sumfin worthwhile.

Ah yes, ENT did drop nicely. hehe

    Best to ya.
