Looking at the BMHC weekly and daily charts. Here's a weekly short that currently looks like she could get real ugly to the downside for a drop of $31 via Dow theory PROVIDED she busts the lower line of a descending triangle.
(This might be one you want to put in stalk mode ).

The current PnF chart is looking for a $62 bottom of the current chart.
Yesterday's $6 plunge is a bearflag looking for another $6 drop (via Dow Theory).

            Any thoughts or proposed setups?

Thanks NB! I'll chart 'em up later tonight hopefully. Stalk mode indeed!

                Thanks Spike,

A short from your insight woud have been better, but Ill take what I got.Im not sure what causes these EX date selloffs, often 10X the dist payment on these canroys.

Instead of buying them, and trying to catch a falling knife,Ill short at the best date and see what it gives me.If I were really bold,Id take a long when I feel selling pressure has let up,making $ at both sides.

                cordially Tom

                  The Time has come (finally!)

                  Spike:
I am calling it here. The time has come for AAPL to be shorted down to size.
The head and shoulders formation calls for a nice $54.30 minus target.

ADDED BONUS: the fall zone is weak in price by volume!
                  Here's the chart:

Spike, I have the stop set at $70.50, just .16 above the neckline. That means a risk of $1.69 vs. a potential gain of $14.51 for a r/r ratio of 11.7/1, which is okay.

Man I love it when ya talk r/r Bravo! That is a good number there. I'll ponder this one further today, but initial thoughts:

Yes, that daily does show a SHS target, and it's also impulsive to the downside, and for that reason it's goin' on the c short stalk sheet. Daily money is leaving, but if it is in the a or c now, it may well 'c' up through your stop. And that would make sense for it to go test the neckline it's just broken before it fades away; appropriately called the kiss of death where I'm from.

BUT; let's look long-term for it. Monthly looks like this drop is merely impulse 4 down after a nice cup with handle. I think it's got the 5th up owing to it; even if it's truncated to the recent highs. On the weekly, this is one strong stock dude....booming channel action on the weekly, and this kind of move could be viewed merely as corrective. It's down near weekly channel support now; I'd be wanting to see a major bust before saying the pillars are cracked. I'd view 60.00 50% fib and major channel midline as good support. It also looks good as a measured 4 down completion. That's only 11%. And remember, SHS don't always get their targets met.....
I'm gonna stalk this one though, so thanks fer the heads up!

You present a good setup in my book, and best of luck!

My daily Vector threatening to turn bullish I note. I may have to get that bull suit out if this keeps up! Dow is up near that diamond resistance...

Thanks for the chart! Made a daytrade sell at $67.70 with a target of $66.90. Just for today! Now if we can just bust the $67.55 floor . . . .

                              edit: there goes the floor!

double edit: too much resistance at $67.60. I let it bounce three times there and closed my second position at $67.68 for an even trade. Still short the first stick . . . .
