    A SIRI "zoom" you say???

Sounds good to me Spike! I hope your right. One good zoom could make me a pretty good profit!

Still holding DHB... Let's see what happens on Monday.

Declining volume on DHB has me concerned. Unless news comes out, I will probably sell for a small profit, first thing Monday morning. A small profit is better than a loss!

I may not have Mr Markets record, but this will make 4 consecutive winning trades for me. Only 64 more to go and I'll be the next huge one!

      Have a great weekend everyone!

I have a sell order in on DHB for tomorrow morning. This will make the second time I have profited from this stock. The bearish chart is a good thing. I would like to see another good pullback so I can, once again, make money from DHB!

It's looking like I'll have to delay any other trades until after Wednesday...looks like Hurricane Ivan may come my way.
Anyone, want to buy a waterfront home in Florida???

That's a wise thing to do imo. As you say, you can get in again later.

Hey Webs, what about that 23.10 entry for ELN the other day....did you think about taking it? It sounded like you really wanted to hop onto the ELN train. Anyone that took the entry was smiling from the get go.

I had to choose btween DHB and ELN...I chose DHB.
But...I did make a profit on DHB, so everything worked out! Thats 4 consecutive, profitable trades! Will I become huge like Mr Market??? Time will tell...

If ELN drops back a little, sometime this week, I may consider hoping on board. I am worried, though, that ELN may carry a little too much speculative risk.

I've also been keeping my eye on IMAX and NUTR.

Two others I'm looking at, but not considering buying at this point are CLRK and ATAH.

Webs, I replied to your last post last night, but I don't see it here......hmmm....perhaps I hit preview by mistake.....oh well, anyway, yes, profit is good. But don't aim for consecutive winners, but rather aim for discipline on ALL trades, especially the ones that don't win.
And regarding your worry about ELN's speculative risk, consider this: Every stock on the planet has a potential to drop 50% or more overnight if the news is bad enough, and we don't have crystal balls, so doesn't it make sense to assume that every position we have carries the same risk? And if we assume that, then every stock is the same.
I challenge you to make your next trade on the stock that scares you the most, but make the share number insignificant so money is not in the equation. Why? So you can take action in the face of fear and execute your plan no matter what happens. Do this enough times and you'll make a habit of doing the same things despite what your emotions tell you. Make a habit of it, then you can up the size slowly, until you are trading appropriate size relative to your portfolio and trading style, and able to do so without emotion.
I'll check out those others later.

              • Spike, I did see your reply to webs on old format, not this new one. Very nice writeup. I'll keep it in mind when I trade.

I bought STHLY last week because I saw several up days with higher volume, and almost 4 months of flat base in spite of down market. I thought it would shoot up anytime. How do you think about this one? I also bought SIE today.

Thanks. Maybe Mr.Market didn't like what I said about attempting to have consecutive winners so he deleted it?! ~jk~ But the stuff about war was a pretty good analogy for trading. I still need my second cup of coffee so I can't remember it all
I'll check STHLY and SIE in a minute.

Bummer. My bias in long for it. If you can snag a gray lower channel entry, go for it again.

                      • My entry was a little high (45.05). My initial stop was pretty tight. I may get in at a better time. I tend to buy stocks at flat base, since it's less risky. Another stock I'm watching now is VLCCF. It's also forming an ascending base.

HRT and ESMC are alive again. They used to be top 1 in IBD100, and lost 70-80% in last couple months. I wish I did join the rally.

Great work on keeping that stop tight. It's falling away today, so you are smiling. I will add this to my list and join you for the next long....
VLCCF, is bullish for me right now, but prices are too high for me. I'd hold off until lower channel currently 27.50ish. It MUST hold 24.50 to remain long.
HRT lol wow. EDIT: this is a great example of why you should cover on a significant channel break. And since the bullish channel break at 10.00 there has been NO lower channel to enter it long...look at it go. This is why you need a stop loss plan if you're short /EDIT
ESMC I note it bounced off the lower channel I spoke of when I mentioned it last. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...g/ESMCwait.jpg

                            Nice run now.

                                CDE bullish

Worth looking for intraday pattern or S1 S2 entry long.
