    IBD

    $$$Mr Market$$$

How can one take canslim seriously when, at the time that I'm writing this message, IBD's whole website seems to be dead???

I'm leaning more and more towards your type of techniques every day. Like IBD's website, I'm starting to believe that WON's methods are also dead...

Thankyou your greatness for listening to my griping.

I have no problem with CANSLIM. I don't use it. There's more than one way to make money. In fact, there are probably thousands of systems that work very well.

I really have no problem with canslim either, but I do have a problem with some of the closed minded people on the IBD boards who blindly follow one philosophy. What a bunch of losers!!! Especially that Skiracer dork.

WON is truly a great trader, but he has created a whole crowd of robots. Hmmm...sounds kinda like a cult following...like the Moonies or something.

I for one, am looking at trading from all angles, including canslim. I am new to trading and have suffered a few small losses, but I'm keeping all options open and want to learn from all the traders I can. I think I can even learn from the bad traders as well as the good ones.
$$$Mr Market$$$, of course is one of the good ones. No, no, make that excellent one.
I will not lose. I will reach my goal of ne less than $2000,000,000 in my trading account before I retire! HA HA HA!!!

I have learned to be very cautious of any stock that is on the IBD 100 list.
NUTR is a prime example. I didn't get into this one because of this very reason and it looks like I was right.

NUTR will eventually meet Mr Markets goal and be a big winner, but the shorts are going to work on it first. The shorts seem to keep track of The IBD breakouts and take advantage of them.

My rule for now. Don't buy anything on the IBD 100. The market is just too volatile for IBD stocks at this time. I see IBD followers as a large herd jumping blindly off a cliff.

I have made a lot more money following MrM picks than trying to pick the breakout out of a sound "cup and handle". IBD's interpretation of a cup and handle vary greatly some times. Seems like when a stock "breaks out" there are plenty of sellers ready to kick in at the first sign of trouble and combine that with the 7-8% rule the market makers have a field day knowing that there will be plenty of sellers at that price. However I have learned a lot from IBD, they do stress profits and introduce a lot of stock ideas to look at. I also like their "Big picture" column. I think you have to look at different methods and dont depend on one idea.

I do agree that IBD is a valuable tool and I also agree that you must develop your own techniques.

I'm just glad that I found out quickly that I can't follow everything IBD says and be successful. I tried the IBD way and lost. Now I'm trading my way and I'm making money.

I will continue my IBD subscription. I think the Big Picture is a great column.

I've found the best tool of all, though, that has really made a difference in my trading and that tool is $$$Mr Market$$$ is huge.com! I have learned more from Mr Market and others here than I have anywhere else. Mr Market, if you're reading this, I just want you to know that your web site has helped make me a success. I owe you a great deal of gratitude.

One day we should have a Mr Market convention in...say...Atlantic City. Yea, that would be cool.
