Well, back to the discussion ... please allow me one more remark! The Netherlands is well worth a visit! Amsterdam is worth missing a flight, but only if it was your last chance ever to visit it. And in March you would be just a bit early for the tulips! (click'em!)

I live a good 100 km southeast of Amsterdam, very close to the German border already. If you ever make the trip, I hope you'll enjoy it just as much as my wife and I enjoyed visiting the USA.

Interactive Brokers just announced this morning that beginning Nov 1 the fee schedule has been reduced further:

price per share=.005 cents (minimum order: $1)
That means 1000 shares=$5 commision. 200 shares=$1

Options=$0.75 cents per contract.

My advice: dump Scottrade and come on over to the big leagues.

I am and have been using Power Etrade for a long time now......... no real complaints. Rates are pretty good.
