    The Memorial Day Top 5

I shined them up, and here they are:

    BKST HIBB MIDD NUTR RBIN

Which one do you like and why? I'll be buying one of these tomorrow.

By the way, of the picks entered by our readers, AUO finished 6th, SIE finished 14th and ELAB was 19th....good selections, guys.

Stay away from MIDD. The #1 IBD 100 stock has only one place to go.

        RBIN?

RBIN is the definition of a thinly traded stock. 1,000 shares have traded hands by 1:00 EDT. If this is your pick, your followers (including me) will move the price tomorrow!

AUO was my entry this time, DECK was my entry last time. Looks like I might be beginning to understand the HUGE criteria. (Someone has subtly hinted that it has something to do with earnings.)
Out of the top 5, NUTR would be my favorite. SO, I bought some APTI.

            first glance

I like BKST HIBB RBIN as being most likely to make it in the face of danger, and MIDD as the quickest to profit if things keep moving- but its negative book value and lofty momo ranking frighten me.

BKST and RBIN look to be the best value, and safest plays here (IMWO)- I'd go with one of those (after more research though)

RBIN sets up the best with channels. I like it at 18.00 to 18.50.

NUTR is still long from 20, as per my thread, so I still like that one Actually looking to exit soon...there has been a bearish channel break and I'm looking to get out at next upper channel. BUT - channel may turn up before that happens, so for now, it's still a valid open long

HIBB looks like it's in the best position to keep moving up short term. DMI is pointing in the right direction with crossover, RS is up, CCI crossed 0 heading up, Stochastics moving up, stock is close to breaking out to new highs and hasn't broken it's 50 DMA on its weekly chart since the beginning of 2003. The problem with MIDD, as someone else mentioned, is the IBD jinx.

I also like RBIN except that it is so thinly traded. I would rather buy
                  something with more liquidity.

MIDD looks like it is getting stronger by the week. Kind of pricy, PE -wise,
                  otherwise I like this one.
