NUTR is looking like it may be about ready to make a comeback.
The time may be right to get one of Mr Market's future winners at a steeply discounted price.

Webs, well look carefully at the chart below. Yeah, the ascending triangle has already reached its target. But notice something else?

It is currently forming a cup. That's right. It is slowing setting itself up for a real nice pop in a month or so. How's that for excitement?

          showing some life

It looks like NUTR is trying to plow through all the volume at 13.80.

I think it may make a run at 15.25.

I'm sorry, but what amazes me is that anyone continues to follow this stock. This is a prime example of a stock that looked like a good pick at the time, but then the situation changed. The steadily rising EPS became falling EPS. Revenue growth stalled, and the steady upward trend as carefully measured by R^2 etc. reversed. I'm not about to advocate tight trailing stops that can whipsaw you out of a good stock. I'm not about to say that a 15% profit is not a good thing. But c'mon. If this does ever return 15%, it will be after several years, with a net return equal to a savings account, but even that is not my argument. My argument is: If the criteria to buy is steadily rising earnings and stock price, then I believe the criteria to sell is that the criteria to buy is no longer met.

spike is better than me, but trendlines can easily be drawn showing lower highs and lower lows starting back in July 04, after the initial crash. Volume has also been steadily dropping.

Anyway, that's my philosophy and my take on this particular stock. I had not stated it here for a year or so, so I thought I'd take this chance to reiterate.

                regards ... stenz

I like this one- all of the numbers are moving in the right direction.

                    I especially like this excerpt:

We adopted Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No. 123R, Share-Based Payment ("SFAS 123R") effective October 1, 2005, using the modified prospective application method. SFAS 123R requires companies to record compensation expense for the value of all outstanding and unvested share-based payments, including employee stock options and similar awards. As of October 1, 2005, we had no outstanding and unvested share-based payments. Also, on September 30, 2005, we terminated the 1995 Stock Option Plan, the 1998 Stock Incentive Plan and the 1998 Non-Employee Director Stock Option Plan. After September 30, 2005, no new awards of any kind will be granted under any of these plans. As a result, we did not recognize any compensation expense related to share-based payments in our consolidated financial statements for the three and six months ended March 31, 2006.

That's one way to deal with those pesky new rules for options reporting... just STOP GIVING THEM OUT!

You said it! More companies need to do this.

I just love companies who hand out endless options to the head honchos, and then allow the head honchos to authorize stock buy-backs, thereby automatically increasing the value of the options without increasing shareholder value. Then the options get exercised, and the investors get the shaft.
                      Happy investing,
                      Dave

While both of these guys are still down about 30%, on its current trajectory NUTR would probably be the next $$MM pick to hit the 15% target.
