I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. I will take MIDD, but none look to have good entry points for me at the prices they are at now. I may even look at a posible. short in a couple of these....
The stock of the Summer is MVL. Basing nicely, NO debt, Thousands of characters to license, BIIIIIG Ernie-Sized movie, Spiderman 2 coming out soon. Either takeover bait or a money-making machine!
License to Sony or Lions Gate to make movies (also has Blade 3, Man-Thing and Iron Fist due out this year and Fantastic 4 & Electra in the works)
License to Activision for Games......Mattel for Toys...... all MVL does is sit back and collect the $$$$.
Spiderman 2 hits the first week in July and it will blow Shrek 2 right off his toad stool!
Or would you rather have MIDD - why not AMED, the IBD's #1, since you are taking most of your dump off their list.??
Be bold, Ernie! Maybe MVL can make a Comic Book Starring you as Spidey's new arch villian, The Flatulant Fratboy.
Also like SMRT and CHRS in the retail biz - but real men like us don't put our $$$ in wus stox like those. MVL, DHB and SAM - Comic books, armour and beer are the only stox for this forum
The McClellan Market report noted some problems in the Nasdaq up and down volume statistics for last Friday. They are investigating. I also noticed some differences in the closing prices of some issues lately. This is frustrating from the technical perspective.
I chose MIDD on the Memorial Day top five. It closed at 60.93 on 5/27, the day before MM bot NUTR. It has traded as low as 54.45 since then. It made a nice move yesterday, closing at 61.17 (or 61.19 depending on which site you use) . It appears that it is going to make a run at 63.73. The slope of the 20 day ma is nicely positive. I choose MIDD.
