How come we can't place attachments here? When I try I get this:

    NOTE:
You are normally allowed to attach files within this Forum,
but since no Extension Group is allowed to be attached here,
you are unable to attach anything. If you try,
you will receive an Error Message.

Some of my stuff is too wide for the Coding...THX...IIC

    Hi IIC,

what type of attachment did you want to post? I had no problems posting them, but then I am site admin, so perhaps different rules apply

I think I didn't allow attachments for this forum somewhere someplace, because most file types will make the database grow in a hurry, and I intended the Reference section more or less as a copy of the Yahoogroups Files section. (= discussion in the normal forum, files etc. in the reference forum).

As you might have noticed, some of the posts I put up at IIC's Winners are rather lengthy which may be annoying to some people??? There are some posts that are not easily legible when I code them because they are too wide for the space allowed here. Also, linking is not possible becuse much of the info does not come from an available website.

Not a real big deal, but I was just wondering?...THX....Doug(IIC)

        Hello Doug,

if people are annoyed by your (indeed) lenghty posts, that is their problem. They are not forced to read your topic. So just keep posting them.

I had a look at the posts with code layout and the ones I looked at all looked fine to me. Perhaps you don't post the ugly ones? But I allowed txt and other document formats as attachments (I post them myself, after all). I think I prefer txt as the more compact format. In fact, I think it would be best if you found a way to post the info directly, in the message, but that is your choice.

        Regards,

        Karel
