  • IBD's EPS rating

I have already sent an e-mail to mr. Market but maybe there's someone else who can help. Is there anyone who knows where I can find a screener or the criteria for IBD's EPS rating.

    Thank You

    rtucek,
According to IBD "EPS rating compares a company's last two quarters and last 3-5 years of growth and stability with that of all other companies. The rating number means the % of all other companies that its earnings have outperformed."

      Thanks Billyjoe

I had read that somewhere but what I need is the exact criteria or formula to enter into MSN's Deluxe Screener.

You are not gonna get the EXACT formula...If they let that out I'd be posting it.

But anyway...Why would you want it???...it is backward looking...The original reason people invested in cos. was for future growth...many have lost sight of that...IIC

Check out Karel's thread on this. He built a screener using MSN which simulates IBD's criteria.

You will find that thread in the Reference section; here's a link:

              Please note:
              - I know the IBD formulas as well as you, but the picks seem to perform well.
              - $$$Mr.Market$$$ has changed his method, but the picks from my approximation of his former method still seem to perform well
