    I'm Bored

I'm bored with my tiny portfolio and its tiny gains. Anyone interested in a pre- election stock picking contest? It would end just before the presidential election and we could blame whoever wins on our results if the picks tank. Successful choices would also be attributed to the winner or loser that way you can't lose! Actually I just want to see if RL can pick another TASR with his dart throw. Are you with me? Lets go. MrMarket, are you in?

Mr.Market, Would you like to set the rules? The less complicated, the better. I would suggest based on the March Madness tournament that no more than 20 contestants with no more than 5 picks each (no doubling up) be allowed. Otherwise, the paperwork becomes overwhelming.

Was thinking of an election type deal where everyone picks 2 stocks. Kinda like a presidential candidate and a vp. But, maybe just one pick would work. Putting all the $ in one basket. Hope to have rules in place and posted this evening.

End of the first week of the tiny portfolio. Will list symbol, purchase price, end of week price, percentage of loss or gain:
                  DDN 16.85 17.49 +3.8
                  UNT 34.48 35.85 +4.0

Thought I was a genius until I found almost everything went up this week including 60 of 67 picks on my super secret watchlist. billyjoe
