    Why we left Yahoo Groups

The truth is, it would have been simple to start a new group on Yahoo. What was troubling for me, however, was that we had put a considerable amount of human capital into all of our thoughts and opinions which were posted on the Yahoo Group.

With one fell swoop, some dork from Yahoo decided that the group violated their Terms of Service and our little community was vaporized without warning.

What it boils down to is that we had virtually no control at all and we suddenly felt very fragile and vulnerable. The best way to resurrect was in a situation where we had total control. So here we are.

To those of you who were very comfy with the old format, I am sure you'll end up fine with this one as you spend more time here.

Your comments are more than welcome.
