    Dreamworks DWA

You might say I'm crazy , but am attempting to buy DWA.Order is in ,but not verified. I missed premarket trading which I didn't realize ended at 9:15 est.
My son has connections to the animation business. It is facinating although I have no idea or apptitude in this type of work. Missed out on PIXAR , but it is the standard to which DWA will be compared and is a great company.

I may have screwed up big time. Order was verified 25 minutes after opening at 39.50 up 11.50 . It is now at 36.40 down 3.10 . Didn't think it would go so high so fast or drop that far that fast.

      It's $38.95 ah...I think you'll be ok.

I may have to free up some cash and get in myself.

        Webs,
This may be one of those rare occasions where I fell in a pile of sh*t and came out smelling like a rose . Usually I just fall in and crawl out. DWA now at 40.75.

          Why buy DWA?

Why are you guys buying DWA? From its SEC filings, it doesn't look too particularly profitable. Or does that matter to you?

            mmcfarli,
Good point. Normally DWA wouldn't meet my investment requirements, but my son has a connection to the industry , animation or should I say digital or computer animation has a bright future , and DWA is one of only a couple big players in the industry. Short term I'm taking a chance , but long term it looks outstanding.

I haven't bought DWA yet, but if I do, it would be for the same reasons I own SIRI. Not for the technicals or fudamentals, but for the potetial of a new technology or industry. Sometimes you have a vision of the future and you act upon it.

So, what do you guys think of DWA now? I still think there's a lot of potential for a run up here.

I'm contemplating whether I should get in or not.

                  Closed at $38.90

Thankfully I got out of DWA 12/2 at about 40.88 for a gain of 3%. It was too volatile for me.
